Not many people can afford to live in the leafy suburbs because of the high costs of housing and servicing the apartments. However, they are great places which everyone would love to live in. We shall look at some of the advantages of living in the leafy suburbs of Singapore.
Space
If you have a family, then you will realize that you need space. Getting the perfect space in the city has become difficult because of the large population of people, yet the land is limited.

Moving from one point in the city has become difficult because of overcrowding. Most people in such areas have to wake up early in the morning to make it work early because of the congestion which usually leads to the traffic jam.
This is, however, not the case in the leafy suburbs because not many people live in such areas. The suburbs have fewer people per square mile which means when it is easy for people to access essential services in the area since there is no scrambling.

Just like the adage says, show me your friends, and I will tell you the kind of person you are, this applies even in the areas we live. When you live in a leafy suburb, it is no brainer that your neighborhood will be full of people of means in the city.
You will realize that most of them are managers and high-ranking government officials. You can create a network with such neighbors who can bring positive change to your life.
Better School Systems
Leafy suburbs have better school systems than the common areas in our cities. You will hardly get a government-sponsored school in a leafy suburb, but instead, you will get lots of international schools.
The international schools have better educational systems which place your child on the world map as far as his education is concerned. If you want the best for your child as far as his education and future career is concerned, then look for a school that has an excellent educational system.
